Welcome to Dad's Newsletter
This monthly newsletter will give you Biblical
principles for child rearing in a concise,
easy-to-read format.

Please enjoy, learn, and implement.

Hopefully many people will take the time to
copy the current newsletter and email it each
month, to people whom they think might
benefit from it.
Dear Dads,

Are you carrying out the tremendous privilege that God has entrusted
only into your care?  It is for a father to teach his own children the
Bible.

It’s great if your kids are being taught the Bible by their mother, or at
church, or wherever, but as much as possible, you should be leading
the way.

Key point for dads:

God wants you to teach your children the Bible as much as possible.

Important Bible verses:

Deuteronomy 6:6-7 “And these words, which I am
commanding you today, shall be on your heart; and you
shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of
them when you sit in your house and when you walk by
the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.”

There are many ways and opportunities to teach them, with the length
of time depending on each child’s age, personality and attention
span.  You need to put in the time to make sure this is being done
properly.

If you’re not teaching your children the Bible, please don’t wait
another day to start.  There is not much else in life that is more
important.
While Dad’s Newsletters are written to fathers, it will hopefully also be helpful to mothers, to couples as they prepare for parenthood, to
single young men as they prepare for marriage, to single young women to help them know what to look for in a husband, and finally to
children as they mature and begin to understand the tremendous responsibility that God has placed on their father.
We Believe:
We believe that the Bible is
the inerrant Word of God. It
corrects and edifies the
church. It reveals...
